We are looking for multi-skilled candidates who can balance the technical operations and maintain good people skills to manage our Recycling Facility. The Facility Manager will be responsible for creating a suitable working environment, managing the production on site, and ensuring work is properly coordinated, meeting with our clients, staff, and management as needed.
The Facility Manager needs to be able to attend to multiple concerns involving both workers and the environment, production demands, operational issues, and other concerns as they arise.
3+ years in facility management and/or working in an industrial setting would be an asset.
Degree in Business Management & Civil Engineering or related field.
Good organizational and project management skills required.
Must have 3+ years of experience managing people and processes.
Ability to multitask with excellent written and verbal communication.

Meet with potential clients and market the services.
Understand project specifications and develop time schedules for production.
Negotiate with vendors and contractors to secure the best prices for supplies.
Observe existing processes, analyze staff performance, and address deficiencies accordingly.
Monitor and track the project progress to ensure all areas of the site are on schedule and ensure daily reports are completed by the admin support team.
Schedule daily production meetings with the staff as required.
Delegate task (s) and ensure workers efficiency.
Ensure all projects are completed on time and within budget.
Overlook and manage all our waste disposal systems to ensure efficiency.
Ensure constant security presence around the site.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Ensure staff always maintains a clean work area.
