1.1 This position will give support to the Human Resources Manager and will mainly oversee staff recruitment, onboarding, disciplinary functions and coordination of staff retention and feedback programs.
5 Subjects CXC, with passes in Maths and English
Diploma in Human Resources/Business Management
2-3 years experience in the Human Resource field
Excellent computer literacy skills, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
Manage the recruitment process to ensure a timely and adequate supply of competent hires to maintain and grow staffing capacity as required.
Manage and coordinate new hire onboarding process to ensure smooth transition of new hires into the Company and their department/sections.
Represent the Company and participate in Job Fairs, Seminars, Conferences and Workshops.
Coordinate and execute social cohesion and employee welfare activities and programs as part of the Company’s retention plan/strategy.
Arrange and conduct disciplinary hearings and take appropriate approved actions.
Manage the process of ascertaining employees’ feedback via employee surveys and focus groups.
Coordinate the execution of special projects/programs within the Human Resources Department.
Assist in the communication and training of staff on Company policies and processes under the Human Resources scope.
Complete all required documentations and ensure that it is routed in a timely manner to the relevant personnel.
Adhere to all Company policies and procedures which may include but are not limited to SPL Quality Management System (ISO, YUM, FSSC), Health & Safety, Financial/Accounting Systems and ensuring that all employees under direct management complies with same.
Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
