Senior Accounts Clerk

Responsible for overseeing and performing advanced accounting and clerical duties to support the finance department. Ensure accuracy in financial records, supervise junior clerks, and assist in preparing reports for management.

Must have 5 CXC subjects with passes in English, Maths and Accounts, Preferably ACCA Level 1 and 2,

Experience: At least three (3) years experience in Accounting

Responsibilities:

·         Prepare Project Report using Quick Books and associate schedules

·         Prepare Foreign Costing for Containers

·         Enter stores items costing into POs system and provide necessary report on request

·         Prepare Capital Projects Report with associated schedules

·         Prepare raw materials spreadsheet for projects

·         General Filing of all documents related to your function

·         Any other duties assigned from time to time

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software

  Shared Duties (In Absence Of)

·         Prepare Bank Reconciliation

·         Collect timebook information and prepare timesheet and summarize for payroll input

·         Fixed Assets Schedules

·         Prepare Payables and Receivables Schedules

·         Filing of GRA and custom clearance documents
