Taxi Driver

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable, professional, and customer-focused Taxi Driver to transport passengers safely and efficiently to their requested destinations. The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of the local area, maintain a high standard of vehicle cleanliness, and provide exceptional customer service. This role requires flexibility, strong communication skills, and a commitment to safe driving practices.

Qualifications:

• Licensing: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

• Experience: Preferably 1+ year driving experience.

• Knowledge: Must have geographical knowledge of at least the Georgetown area to navigate through traffic.

Key Responsibilities

Safe and Efficient Transport: Operate a taxi vehicle in a safe, legal, and courteous manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.

Navigation: Utilize knowledge of the local streets, as well as GPS/navigation tools, to determine the most efficient routes and avoid traffic congestion.

Customer Service: Greet passengers in a friendly and professional manner, and ensure a pleasant ride experience.

Fare Collection: Accurately calculate and collect fares, and issue receipts as required.

Vehicle Maintenance and Appearance: Perform daily pre- and post-shift vehicle checks (e.g., fuel, tires, lights, brakes). Keep the taxi interior and exterior clean and presentable at all times.

Communication: Maintain professional communication with dispatchers regarding trip status, location, and any issues encountered.
