Description

The Recruitment Officer builds client relationships for the purpose of providing professional recruitment services.

Requirements

  • Certification in Human Resource Management or Business Management or a related field

  • Relevant working experience in lieu of formal certification

  • A minimum of 1 to 2 years’ experience in Recruitment and Selection activities

  • Knowledge of Industrial Relations

  • Sales experience would be an asset

Responsibilities

  • Actively solicit and successfully respond to client requests by screening, interviewing and placing suitable candidates, utilizing internal and external channels;

    • Manage client requisition for permanent or temporary staff, ensuring that the:

      • o Terms & Conditions agreement is signed-off by Client;

      • o An accurate Job Description (JD) is received;

      • o Timelines and compensation for candidate agreed;

      • o The requisite levels of screening developed, agreed and implemented.

    • Pool candidates for existing and potential clients in a timely manner, utilizing a variety of recruitment resources (database, job boards, social media, networks etc.).

    • Track requisitions and follow up with Clients and candidates on the progress of each requisition to meet agreed timelines;

    • Schedule and confirm interviews with selected candidates based on client’s recommendations.

    • Verify candidates as per client requirements;

    • Update all relevant requisition records on closing an assignment.

    • Prepare employment contracts and documents for selected Candidates.

    • Ensure all necessary contracts filed and details of Requisition for both Client and Candidate entered in system to effect invoicing and reporting.

    • Prepare extensions for Contract staff as required.

    • Maintain and update Client and Candidate files.

    • Generate Recruitment reports for submission to Country Manager.

    • Liaise with Country Manager on client contracts and proposals.

    • Ensure all recruitment policies, procedures and techniques are adhered to and recommend improvements to Country Manager where necessary.

    • In the case of Temporary Recruitment, conduct candidate briefings and apprise candidates of their role as an EVE temporary employee, communicating with the Candidate Management Department for follow-up;

    • Engage new clients by networking;

    • Follow up with clients and candidates to cultivate and build relationships as business partners.

    • Provide support to EVE social media projects, and assist in special projects and events as required.

    • Other Duties and Responsibilities relevant to the position, as the role and function of the position develops.
