The Inventory Officer will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring stock levels, conducting stock counts, and ensuring proper control of hotel inventory across all departments. The successful candidate will play a key role in minimizing stock variances and supporting efficient hotel operations.
* Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in inventory control, stores management, or a similar role.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems.
* Strong numerical and analytical skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
* Previous experience in the hospitality industry would be an asset.
* Maintain accurate inventory records and stock management systems.
* Monitor inventory levels and notify management of low stock items.
* Conduct regular stock counts and inventory audits.
* Investigate and report inventory discrepancies and variances.
* Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against purchase orders and delivery notes.
* Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory items.
* Prepare inventory reports and stock movement summaries.
* Work closely with the Purchasing, Finance, Food & Beverage, and Housekeeping departments.
* Ensure compliance with company inventory control policies and procedures.
