The HR & Administration Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative and coordination support to the Human Resources & Administration Department. The role assists with recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, leave administration, employee mobilization, office administration, and general HR support activities to ensure the efficient operation of the department and the Company's mining operations.
Diploma or Associate Degree in Human Resource Management or Business Administration.
Minimum of two (2) years' experience in Human Resources, Administration, or a related role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience in a similar role, preferably in the mining sector, would be an asset.
1. Maintain accurate employee personnel files and HR records.
2. Prepare routine HR correspondence, employment contracts, letters, and forms.
3. Assist with employee onboarding, orientation, and offboarding activities.
4. Maintain records relating to probation, leave, attendance, and contract renewals.
5. Update HR databases and prepare routine HR reports.
6. Coordinate job advertisements and application tracking.
7. Schedule interviews and communicate with candidates.
8. Coordinate pre-employment requirements, including medicals, references, and supporting documentation.
9. Facilitate employee onboarding and induction activities.
10. Coordinate employee travel, accommodation, and mobilization arrangements.
11. Maintain employee rotation schedules and personnel movement records.
12. Liaise with camp management regarding employee arrivals, departures, and accommodation requirements.
13. Assist in compiling and submitting payroll adjustment information.
14. Maintain employee benefit records and supporting documentation.
15. Respond to routine payroll and leave-related queries.
16. Assist with the coordination of office supplies, equipment, and administrative services.
17. Maintain departmental filing systems and records.
18. Coordinate meetings, training sessions, and departmental activities as required.
19. Maintain confidentiality of employee and Company information.
20. Ensure employee documentation remains current and properly filed.
21. Support compliance with Company policies and applicable labour regulations.
