Internal Auditor

Demerara Life Group of Companies is seeking a fully qualified ACCA professional to join its Management Team in the position of Internal Auditor.

Minimum Qualification

• ACCA (fully qualified).

• Audit Experience in the Insurance Industry and insurance qualifications would be an asset

• High level of integrity, confidentiality, honesty, and professional ethics

• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify risks and control weaknesses

• Ability to communicate findings clearly and prepare well-structured audit reports

• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally.

• Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications.

• Organized, self-motivated, and committed to professional development

The successful candidate will be responsible for inter alia to conduct audits in accordance with the approved audit plan, ensuring audits are completed timely and effectively in line with professional auditing standards., reviewing internal control systems and procedures to ensure adequacy, effectiveness, and compliance with statutory requirements, accounting standards, and company policies.
