Delivery Driver — Meat Centre
Valid driver’s licence appropriate for the class of vehicle (Car, Van, Bus)
Minimum of 1–3 years driving experience preferably in delivery work
Clean driving record.
Strong time management skills; able to meet delivery schedules reliably.
Physically fit: ability to lift, load and unload heavy or bulky meat packages safely.
Safely transport meat products (fresh, frozen, chilled) from the meat centre / processing facility to retail outlets, restaurants, or direct customers.
Maintain cold chain integrity: ensure temperature-controlled handling and delivery.
Load and unload meat consignments carefully to avoid damage and spoilage.
Plan delivery routes for efficiency, considering traffic, distance, and time.
Inspect vehicle before departure: check refrigeration units, fuel, tires, brakes, lights, etc.
Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of vehicle and equipment, especially parts in contact with meat (truck body, shelving, containers).
Maintain accurate documentation (delivery receipts, invoices, vehicle logs, temperature logs).
Interact professionally with clients; get correct signatures or proof of delivery.
Report any incidents, breakages, or problems immediately.
