About the Role

Home Designs Engineering Inc. is seeking a dynamic, results-driven, and highly qualified Project Manager to lead project execution and field operations across our portfolio of projects. Serving as a key managerial authority within the company, the Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are flawlessly executed within established timelines, budget limits, and strict quality and scope guidelines.

This position manages projects start-to-end—encompassing material procurement and delivery tracking, subcontractor supervision, on-site commissioning, quality assurance, and final client handover.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education & Certification

· Mandatory: Minimum of five (5) CSEC/CXC subjects (Grades I–III), including compulsory passes in English Language and Mathematics.

· Required: Certificate or Associate Degree in Project Management.

· Asset: A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, or related discipline) is considered a major asset.

Experience & Core Competencies

· 1 to 2+ years of practical project management experience overseeing material procurement, subcontractor crews, and client relations.

· Proven track record of managing multi-construction field and requisite resources.

· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

· High attention to detail with strong organizational, multitasking, and deadline-management capabilities.

· Proficiency in digital record-keeping, spreadsheet management, and project management software.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

1. Project Leadership & Field Execution

· Oversee and direct on-site field installation teams, lead technicians, and subcontractors to ensure all scope of works complies with technical engineering drawings, manufacturer standards, and safety protocols.

· Interface directly with architects, structural engineers, and sub-contractors during the design phases to guarantee integration and adherence to building codes.

· Receive, log, prioritize, assign, and rigorously track job orders and operational milestones.

· Proactively monitor, coordinate, and follow up on outstanding field tasks to ensure rapid problem resolution and project schedule compliance.

· Facilitate smooth transitions of completed projects to the client.

2. Procurement & Operational Management

· Ensure procurement requests for materials are generated, reviewed, and fulfilled strictly within company delivery guidelines and contract specifications.

· Promptly identify, mitigate, and escalate operational delays, field bottlenecks, and logistical challenges to Project Management.

· Interface professionally with clients, end-users, consultants, and technical staff regarding site visits, project progress, and progress updates.

3. Administrative & Quality Assurance

· Ensure that the project is executed to specifications and with quality finishes.

· Maintain exceptional accuracy in record-keeping of performed quality assurance tests.
