To assist the Audit Team in the daily checking, tracking, and clarification of all incoming documents and transactions for audit purposes, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and SAP system requirements.
Minimum Requirements
Currently pursuing CAT or an Accounting Degree
At least 2 years experience or a minimum of 5 years performing same or similar function in a related department
Must be computer literate in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel
Working knowledge of SAP would be an asset
Strong analytical and reporting skills
Verify Cigarette Requisition Slips against SAP records to ensure requested stock is accurately posted.
Verify Salesman Requisition Slips against SAP records to ensure requested stock is accurately posted.
Check that samples, donations, and miscellaneous items are properly adjusted within the SAP system.
Verify wages paid against approved timesheets.
Conduct physical checks of raw materials in bonds and factories and prepare reconciliation reports.
Conduct physical checks of finished goods in bonds and factories and prepare reconciliation reports.
Conduct physical stock checks of Sales Representatives’ inventory on hand.
Ensure gate passes for finished products are accurately processed through the system and correspond with security records.
Conduct physical checks of gas and diesel inventories and ensure proper reconciliations are completed.
Ensure correct stock transfers are made between factories and bonds through the SAP system.
Verify salesmen’s sales records and stock on hand.
Ensure export file transactions are processed according to stipulated system procedures.
Physically verify that salesmen incentives and commissions are calculated according to company procedures.
Check factory records against raw materials used and production output.
Verify company assets through physical inspection and audit procedures.
Physically verify discards, donations, and destruction processes.
Conduct monthly physical cash counts.
Prepare audit reports highlighting findings, discrepancies, and observations.
Maintain strict confidentiality of all audit-related information and matters concerning the Internal Audit Department.
