Project Manager- Glamour Duty Free

Glamour Duty Free is preparing to launch a world-class luxury retail experience at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport (CJIA), and we are seeking an experienced, proactive, and results-driven Project Manager to oversee the construction, setup, staffing, and successful opening of our new Duty Free operations.

• Proven experience managing construction, retail, or commercial projects

• Strong leadership and organizational skills

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to manage multiple teams and deadlines simultaneously

• Experience in retail operations or store openings is an asset

• Experience with airport, hospitality, or commercial projects is a plus • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools

• Valid driver’s license preferred

• Oversee the construction, fit-out, and operational setup of the duty free stores

• Coordinate contractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal teams • Manage project timelines, budgets, schedules, and operational milestones

• Conduct regular site visits and monitor daily project progress

• Coordinate permits, approvals, and project documentation

• Ensure high standards of execution, safety, and quality control

• Oversee store setup, merchandising preparation, and operational readiness

• Lead the hiring, onboarding, and coordination of retail staff for the new locations

• Work alongside management and HR to support staff training and launch readiness

• Ensure all departments are aligned for a smooth and successful store opening
