Description

As our Showroom Employee, you are responsible for assisting customers in the showroom, processing sales transactions, and supporting the daily operations of the sales department. You play an important role in providing excellent customer service, maintaining accurate sales administration, and ensuring that showroom activities run smoothly and efficiently.

In this role, you provide customers with information about our products, complete cash and account sales, and process distribution orders submitted by Sales Representatives. You coordinate with the Warehouse, Billing, and Finance departments to ensure orders and documentation are handled accurately and on time.

You are also responsible for maintaining showroom inventory, monitoring out-of-stock items, keeping product displays presentable, and supporting the administrative side of the sales process. This position requires someone who is customer-focused, organized, accurate, and able to perform well in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Education: CXC graduate or equivalent qualification
Experience: Previous experience in sales, retail, customer service, or administration is an advantage
Language: Good command of English, both written and spoken
Technical Skills: Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Availability: Available full-time from Monday through Saturday
Additional Requirements: Strong mathematical skills and the ability to work accurately with figures and transactions

Responsibilities

  • Assist showroom customers by providing product information and completing sales transactions

  • Process cash sales and account sales accurately and efficiently

  • Enter and process distribution orders submitted by Sales Representatives

  • Print order forms, receipts, and sales documentation

  • Coordinate with Warehouse, Billing, and Finance departments regarding sales transactions

  • Answer and transfer incoming telephone calls professionally

  • Maintain and update the out-of-stock list

  • Monitor and maintain showroom inventory levels

  • Ensure showroom displays are organized, clean, and presentable

  • Prepare and submit daily sales remittances to the Finance department

  • Open and close the showroom according to established schedules

  • Support sales administration by creating orders and maintaining accurate records

  • Ensure all sales documentation is complete and properly distributed to relevant departments
