Cashier / Finance Officer

LongReach Investments & Construction Inc. is seeking an experienced Cashier / Finance Officer to support the company’s financial operations in Guyana. The successful candidate will be responsible for local and foreign currency transactions, banking operations, account reconciliation, cash and financial document management, and the preparation of financial reports.

1. College diploma or higher in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. An accounting qualification or entry-level accounting certificate is preferred.

2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in cashier, treasury, or finance-related positions. Experience in cross-border financial operations is preferred.

3. Fluent in English as a working language, with the ability to communicate independently with local and international banks and process financial documents in English.

4. Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office applications, with strong attention to detail, accuracy and responsibility.

5. Strong cross-cultural communication skills and ability to work effectively under pressure

1. Handle local and foreign currency receipts, payments and cross-border settlements, and communicate in English with local and international banks to process transactions.

2. Maintain daily cash and fund transaction records and complete bank reconciliations.

3. Interpret local foreign exchange and financial policies in English, process foreign exchange settlement transactions and ensure compliance with applicable financial requirements.

4. Manage cash, financial documents and company seals related to financial operations, ensure consistency between accounts and actual funds, and organize and maintain financial records in English.

5. Prepare financial reports in both Chinese and English, monitor fund movements and support internal and external audit activities.
