Description

We are looking for a reliable, organised, and proactive Operations Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of the company. The ideal candidate should possess strong administrative, leadership, and financial management skills, with the ability to ensure smooth business operations and maintain corporate compliance standards.

The Operations Assistant will work closely with management to coordinate office activities, oversee operational procedures, manage records, and assist with business administration tasks.

Requirements

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3–5 CXC subjects including Mathematics and English OR,

  • Diploma or certification in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field is an asset

  • Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities

  • Leadership and team coordination skills

  • Knowledge of financial management and bookkeeping principles

  • Understanding of corporate operations and business compliance procedures

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Professional attitude and strong work ethic

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills

  • Previous experience in administration, operations, or office management will be an advantage

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the day-to-day operations and administrative functions of the business

  • Maintain organised records, files, reports, and operational documents

  • Support financial management activities including budgeting, invoicing, expense tracking, and basic accounting tasks

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with corporate, legal, and business regulations

  • Coordinate schedules, meetings, and internal communications

  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, presentations, and operational updates

  • Supervise and support junior staff when necessary

  • Assist with procurement, inventory management, and supplier coordination

  • Ensure efficient workflow and identify areas for operational improvement

  • Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion

  • Support customer service and client relations when required

  • Assist management with special projects and strategic initiatives
