Description

Distribution Services Limited (DSL), a subsidiary of Demerara Distillers Limited (DDL) will be opening a store in Vreed-En-Hoop and is seeking applications from interested persons with the requisite qualifications and experience for Cashier positions.

Requirements

  • Five (5) CSEC subjects, inclusive of Mathematics and English, grades 1 to 3.  

  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.

  • Ability to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

  • Process customer transactions by accurately scanning items, accepting payments, issuing receipts, and balancing daily cash sales.

  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers, addressing inquiries, registering loyalty card members, and assisting in packing customer purchases.

  • Maintain the checkout and sales area by keeping the checkout clean and organized, assisting with price checks and shelf pricing, and performing other assigned duties.
