Responsible for recording, analysing, and reporting an organization's financial transactions to both internal management and external stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and IFRS accounting standards. The role requires a blend of technical expertise and soft skills.
Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting or related field.
ACCA (at least level 1).
At least 3 years in a similar role.
Microsoft Suite (Excellent excel skills)
Mining operations.

Accounts Payable
Review vendor invoices and credit notes in ERP system
Maintain electronic filing in both ERP system and Sharepoint
Month End Close
Lead month end close by ensuring all accounting is completed.
Prepare entries and reconcile lease accounting.
Prepare vendor accruals and reconcile schedules.
Prepare bank reconciliations.
Prepare amortization entries and reconcile prepaid schedules.
Prepare all other balance sheet reconciliations and end of month reconciliation.
Treasury
Review petty cash reimbursements and postings in ERP system.
Review cash reimbursement vouchers.
Review cheque vouchers, disburse and entries in ERP system.
Maintain filing of records.
Prepare monthly cash forecast.
Intercompany
Review and prepare intercompany recharges.
Reconcile intercompany accounts.
Perform FX revaluation where applicable.
Reporting and other duties
Prepare and analyse month end reports.
Assist with information for any adhoc reports for internal and external customers.
Support local and international audit.
