We are seeking a Compliance Coordinator (CC) to join our internal team. This role is responsible for tracking, managing and reporting on all contractual and compliance metrics within the organization. It requires in-depth knowledge of contract structure mechanisms, statutory guidelines governing business or employment agreements and strong, meticulous management of contractual cycles from the initial agreement to next action dates. The CC analyzes and reports on renewal cycles, milestones and agreement termination protocols based on the terms of agreement. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional scheduling and tracking abilities for a high volume of critical documents, comprehensive command of contractual language and terminologies and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Guyanese citizen or resident in Guyana and permitted to work legally
Diploma or Degree in relevant field (Business Administration, Law, Finance, Commerce)
3+ years verifiable experience in contracts or compliance administration (within the Oil and Gas industry is a distinct advantage)
Professional certifications CCEP (Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional), CPCM (Certified Professional Contracts Manager or CCCM (Certified Commercial Contracts Manager) or currently pursuing certification in any of these disciplines is desirable)
Experience in the legal or auditing fields supporting compliance is highly desirable
Strong verbal and written communication and excellent command of English
Proficiency in using Microsoft 365 Suite applications and CRM platforms

Track end-to-end contractual cycles for internal and contingent employees’ employment contracts, client agreements between Leader and its clients (MSAs, SLAs) and service provider agreements (between Leader and its providers)
Cross-reference contractual start and end dates with client CRM / HRM portals and ensure they are aligned
Implement and manage a structured system of document tracking, inclusive of unique tracking identifiers, version history and updates.
Provide scheduled and timely forecasting and reminders to leadership for upcoming actionable items (contract renewals, extensions etc.)
Provide support for Local Content reporting and compliance
Capture and report on any statutory updates applicable to contractual agreements and advise leadership on alignment requirements
Identify gaps and threats to business continuity and provide mitigation recommendations
Liaise with client and internal hiring managers to capture feedback on contract cycles, engagement details and advise leadership for incorporation into contract templates
Represent LEGI by attending compliance forums, seminars and workshops when needed
Create compliance checklist for agreements and ensure all items are satisfied before an agreement is ratified
Other relevant administrative and operational duties in line with role
