Forklift/Warehouse Associate - Timehri

Laparkan Trading Limited is seeking dependable and detail-oriented Forklift/Warehouse Associates for its facility at Timehri.  

-          High School Diploma (CXC)

-          Forklift driving experience/certification a plus

-          Training or certification in warehouse operations or logistics is an asset.

-          Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in warehouse, stores, logistics, or inventory management (preferred)

-          Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

-          Excellent Communication and analytical skills.

-          Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 25 kg (55 lbs), or in accordance with workplace health and safety guidelines.

-          Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform manual tasks for extended periods.

-          Ability to work in varying weather conditions if duties include ramp or outdoor storage areas.

-          Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.

-          Ability to work overtime when operational requirements demand.

-          Receive, inspect, and process incoming air cargo shipments.

-          Verify shipment contents against airway bills, invoices, and packing lists.

-          Label, sort, and store cargo in designated warehouse locations.

-          Data Entry

-          Prepare cargo for dispatch, loading, and delivery.

-          Assist with loading and unloading aircraft containers and delivery vehicles.

-          Ensure all cargo is handled safely and in accordance with company and aviation regulations.

-          Operate Forklift

-          Maintain accurate inventory and shipment records in the warehouse system.

-          Conduct routine stock checks and report discrepancies or damages.

-          Other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth functioning of the operation.
