Bond Porter

Transport patients using wheelchairs, stretchers and trolleys to various locations in the hospital and the ward.

• Must be able to handle heavy load.
• Must be physically fit.
• Previous experience as a Porter or related field would be an asset.

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming deliveries of medical supplies and equipment.

• Move goods from the central warehouse to the Bond Store and onward to various hospital departments,

ensuring items are correctly labeled and documented.

• Assist in organizing and storing goods systematically in designated areas within the warehouse and

Bond Store.

• Prepare and dispatch requested items to hospital departments based on internal requisitions and supply

orders.

• Ensure proper documentation for all goods movement, including delivery notes, stock transfer forms,

and inventory logs.

• Support procurement staff in stock management, including physical inventory checks and stock rotation

(e.g., FEFO – First Expiry, First Out).

• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, health and safety standards, and infection control practices

during handling and transportation of goods.

• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse and Bond Store.

• Report any stock discrepancies, damaged goods, or delivery issues to supervisors promptly.

• Operate manual handling equipment or trolleys to move goods efficiently and safely.
