Senior Project Controls & Contract Manager
Requirements:
1. Education
Bachelor's degree or above in: Civil Engineering; Construction Management; Mechanical Engineering; Electrical Engineering; Quantity Surveying; Related Engineering disciplines.
2. Experience
Minimum 10-15 years of experience in large international EPC, EPC+F, or infrastructure projects;
Previous experience in at least one of the following sectors: Hospitals; Airports; Roads and highways; Industrial facilities; Power projects; Large public infrastructure projects;
Proven experience working with international consultants/engineers under FIDIC or similar contract forms.
3. Technical Capability
Ability to review and understand: Architectural drawings; Structural drawings; Civil drawings; Mechanical drawings; Electrical drawings; Plumbing drawings; Shop drawings; Coordination drawings.
Strong understanding of construction methodology and project execution processes.
4. Contract & Claims Capability
Strong knowledge of: FIDIC contracts; Contract administration; Variations management; Claims preparation; Delay analysis; Extension of Time (EOT); Contract correspondence.
Experience in preparing claim documents and supporting evidence packages.
5. Software Skills
Proficient in: Microsoft Office; Primavera P6; Microsoft Project; AutoCAD.
Experience with document control systems is preferred.

Preferred:
1. Experience working with international contractors or consultants;
2. Local Guyana project experience preferred.
3. Candidate with proven experience in expediting consultant/engineer approvals and resolving engineering bottlenecks will be highly preferred.
1. Engineering & Design Coordination
Lead and monitor engineering coordination among Employer, Engineer/Consultant, Designers and project teams;
Track and expedite review/approval of drawings, shop drawings, technical submissions, RFIs and material approvals;
Identify bottlenecks and coordinate timely resolution of engineering and interface issues;
Review and assess multidisciplinary drawings including Civil, Structural, Architectural and MEP systems;
Support construction teams in resolving technical and design-related issues.
2. Contract & Claims Management
Administer project contracts and ensure compliance with contractual obligations;
Prepare and manage contractual correspondence, notices and records;
Identify potential claim events and establish contemporaneous records;
Prepare and support claims related to: Variations; Delay and disruption; Extension of Time (EOT); Scope changes; Additional costs.
Participate in claim negotiation and commercial discussions with Employer and Engineer.
3. Stakeholder Management
Act as a communication bridge among Employer, Consultant, Contractor and management teams;
Attend meetings and lead coordination discussions with various stakeholders;
Maintain effective communication in multicultural and international working environments.
