Paramount Group Guyana location is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team effective immediately!

The position requires working 8:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M., Monday – Friday.

The Customer Service Team puts a human face on all of Paramount's customer touchpoints. You’ll be on the phone, managing email and chat, assisting customers with product and order status questions – as well as being a point-of-contact to resolve the occasional mistake. You’ll get to know our product line and become an expert at advising customers. You’re going to be completely empowered to WOW our customers.

Requirements

Your Background

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • One Year of prior Customer Service experience and working with quickbooks preferred

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

  • Ability to write simple correspondence.

  • Intermediate personal computer skills, including electronic mail, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.

  • Preferred knowledge of Microsoft Office. Proficient typing and filing

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.

  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  1. Greet customers, often serving as first point of contact; assist in person, electronically, by telephone, or mail

  2. Quote on items relating to shipping, heavy equipment, lubricants, batteries, tires.

  3. Creation of Invoices, following up on quotes, responding to whatsapp messages etc.

  4. Cross Check products deliverting, receiving product sales, verifying eligibility; process or collect cost/fees; prepare invoices and settle payments; issue receipts/refund

  5. Communicate product and services improvement recommendations to accommodate changing business needs

  6. Operate computers, point-of-sale, and other systems/equipment to expedite purchase/services, research information, record data, etc.

  7. Maintain manuals, documents, knowledge base articles, records and assist with inventories

  8. May supervise staff, including hiring and performance management

Paramount Millworks is a small logging and sawmilling complex that harvest logs from our 31000 Hectare forest concession located in Unamco Road and a mill site located at Track 72 Long Creek, Linden Soesdyke Highway. Q4 2023 will see Paramount Millworks launching our own furniture factory and packaged charcoal for export and local use.

Paragon Energy is a retail outlet that imports and distributes Lubricants, Tires and Equipment in Guyana. We represent several major brands including Arizol, Atlantic and Amco brands of Lubricants.
