Description

The Material Controller is responsible for managing the inventory and flow of materials within the project stock, ensuring efficient and accurate stock control while adhering to Company procedures and safety regulations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Previous experience in warehouse or inventory control preferred.

  • Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Ability to lift up to 20 KG.

Responsibilities

  • Inventory Management:

    • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records using the company's inventory management system.

    • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks to ensure accuracy.

    • Reconcile inventory discrepancies and investigate causes of errors.

    • Monitor stock levels and reorder materials as needed to avoid shortages or overstocks.

    • Coordinate with procurement and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.

  • Material Handling:

    • Receive incoming materials, verify quantities against purchase orders, and inspect for damage.

    • Properly store materials in designated locations, ensuring proper labeling and organization.

    • Prepare outgoing materials for shipment, including picking, packing, and labeling.

    • Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment, following safety protocols.

  • Documentation:

    • Maintain accurate records of all material transactions, including receipts, transfers, and shipments.

    • Generate reports on inventory levels, usage, and discrepancies.

    • Complete and process all necessary documentation for receiving and shipping materials.

  • Safety and Compliance:

    • Adhere to all warehouse safety regulations and procedures.

    • Ensure that materials are stored and handled in compliance with safety standards.

    • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

  • Continuous Improvement:

    • Identify and implement opportunities to improve inventory management processes.

    • Collaborate with other departments to streamline material flow and reduce waste.

  • Other Duties:

Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager
