Description

The HR Lead is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Human Resources practices and policies for the company. This includes organization design, organization structure, talent acquisition, performance objectives and appraisals, employee relations, (including employee events) compensation and benefits, training and development, compliance with labour laws and regulations, and HRIS (Zoho People, Zoho Recruit and Workerly) development, design, implementation and data integrity.

The HR Lead will also play a key role in developing and implementing HR strategies that support the company's overall business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or in Human Resources Management.

  • 4+ years of experience in HR management.

  • Strong knowledge of labour laws and regulations.

  • Strong experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, BambooHR, Zoho People, Zoho Recruit, etc.).

  • Demonstrated ability to manage and optimize HRIS functionality.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Experience in use of Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and track internal compliance to HR policies and procedures that comply with all internal practices and applicable laws and regulations.

  • Develop a fully digital, paperless, human resource function with full systems integration.

  • Manage the talent acquisition process, including recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding.

  • Oversee employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management.

  • Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring that they are competitive and cost-effective.

  • Work and collaborate closely with the Payroll department in supporting attendance, timesheet submission, reviews and approvals, leave tracking and approvals, as necessary.

  • Conduct salary surveys and analyze market data to maintain competitive compensation packages.

  • Develop and deliver training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.

  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data privacy and confidentiality.

  • Stay up-to-date on changes in labour laws and regulations and ensure compliance.

  • Collaborate with other departments to address HR-related needs and issues.

  • Foster a positive and productive work environment by addressing employee concerns, resolving conflicts, and promoting effective communication.

  • Manage the HR budget and ensure cost-effectiveness.

  • Supervise HR staff and provide guidance and support.

  • Manage and optimize the company's Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) - Zoho People, Zoho Recruit, and Workerly.

  • Oversee HRIS implementation, upgrades, and maintenance.

  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the HRIS.

  • Develop and generate reports from the HRIS to support HR and business decision-making.

  • Troubleshoot HRIS issues and provide support to employees using the system.

  • Evaluate and recommend HRIS improvements and enhancements.
