The Human Relations Officer is responsible for delivering efficient and effective human relations services in alignment with CGOC’s core values, policies, and procedures. They provide quality HR support and guidance to all companies within the group. The role ensures seamless coordination of HR administrative and operational functions to maintain high productivity across the organization.
Diploma or Certificate in Human Resources Management.
Three (3) years’ experience in human relations.
Highly proficient in Microsoft programs, especially Word, Excel, Visio, etc.
Knowledge of labor laws of Guyana, HR practices, and experience in NIS documentation.
Process transfers, appointments, promotions, warnings, and other employee correspondences, ensuring timely dissemination of internal memos.
Accurately manage employee registers, attendance records, and updates in the People Pay system.
Update insurance providers and pension administrator with employee changes and assist with related queries and claims.
Review payroll data in People Pay, ensuring accuracy of information such as OT, rates, deductions, absences, etc., for approval by relevant persons before being released to the Finance Department.
Supervise HR administrators, address staff queries, and coordinate with departments for meetings, inductions, and reports.
