Accountant

Muneshwers Limited and its subsidiaries are seeking an Accountant to oversee accounting records, financial reporting, and compliance, while supporting budgeting, audits, and providing financial insights.

• ACCA or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a recognized institution.

• Minimum of five (5) years of proven working experience in an accounting role.

• Professional accounting qualification (e.g. CPA, CIMA) in progress or completed will be a distinct advantage.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, standards, and financial reporting.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and collaborate effectively within a team.

• Prepare and maintain accurate accounting records and general ledger entries.

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing procedures and reconciliations.

• Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.

• Ensure compliance with statutory laws, financial regulations, and group policies.

• Assist with internal and external audit processes.

• Handle tax computations and filings in coordination with relevant authorities.

• Contribute to the development and improvement of accounting systems and internal controls.

• Provide financial insights and support to department heads as required.
