Job Summary:
The Human Resource Clerk provides vital administrative support to the HR team, ensuring the smooth handling of employee records, documentation, and internal communications. This role requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and confidentiality, and plays a key part in maintaining efficiency and accuracy within all HR-related workflows.
Diploma/Certificate or equivalent required; further training in business or HR administration is a plus
Previous experience in clerical, administrative, or HR support roles preferred
Strong organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and follow-through
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with HR software systems
Discretion, reliability, and ability to manage confidential information
Friendly and professional communication skills
Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Maintain up-to-date employee records, contracts, and confidential files in both physical and digital formats
Support recruitment efforts by assisting with job postings, interview coordination, and candidate follow-ups
Prepare HR documents, such as warning letters, memos, ID cards, and onboarding packets
Track employee attendance, vacation, and leave requests
Assist in organizing training sessions, staff events, and HR briefings
Provide clerical support in benefits administration and payroll coordination
Respond to routine employee queries or escalate matters to the HR Specialist as needed
Ensure all documentation complies with company policies and data privacy regulations
Support the preparation of HR reports, logs, and compliance checklists
