Demerara Distillers Limited (DDL) is seeking applications from interested persons with the requisite qualifications and experience, for the position of IT Support Technician.
Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology from a recognised university.
CompTIA A+, CompTIA IT Fundamentals+, Cisco certified technician or similar certifications.
Microsoft 365 Fundamentals or related certifications would be an asset.
Excellent customer service skills and a willingness to work flexible hours.
Monitoring assigned hardware and software issues from various departments and act as a contact person (telephone, emails, and IT tickets) for incoming IT issues.
Providing IT project support by setting up hardware and ensuring that connectivity is accurate.
Issue IT related equipment and providing the diagnosis and repair of any malfunctions.
Troubleshooting in-house ticketed issues and project deliverables.
Conducting on-site and off-site visits to resolve IT related issues, provide support and analysis.
