The European Union Chamber of Commerce in Guyana is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented business support officer to join our team. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting the Chamber’s mission of fostering trade, investment, and cooperation between Guyana and the European Union.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, International Relations, or a related field.
• At least 2–3 years’ experience in an administrative, business support, or client-facing role.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a multicultural environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Desirable:
• Knowledge of trade, investment, or international business.
• Experience working with chambers of commerce, NGOs, or international organizations
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide administrative and business development support to the Chamber.
• Coordinate events, meetings, and member engagement activities.
• Support communications, including preparation of newsletters, social media content, and correspondence with members.
• Assist with research and preparation of reports, proposals, and presentations.
• Liaise with members, stakeholders, and partner organizations.
• Maintain accurate records, databases, and filing systems.
