Cook/Kitchen Assistant - Toucan Tango Cafe

We are looking for passionate and reliable Cooks/Kitchen Assistants to join our team at Toucan Tango. If you have a love for creating delicious breakfast items, sandwiches, and are excited to help develop additional menu items, we would love to have you on board!

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.

• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.

• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

• A positive attitude and a genuine passion for cooking and customer service.

• Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast items, sandwiches, and other menu offerings.

• Assist in the development and creation of new menu items.

• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace.

• Follow recipes and presentation standards to ensure consistency in quality.

• Assist with inventory management, including ordering and restocking supplies.

• Uphold health and safety standards in accordance with company policies.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.

• Handle food preparation and storage following proper hygiene practices.

• Support the front-of-house team with any kitchen-related needs.
