Description

Ensure all the work orders opened as manufacturer’s warranties are claimed as per the manufacturer’s policy, focusing on the recovery of the cost incurred.

Requirements

  • At least five (5) subjects CXC.

  • Bachelor in Science-Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

  • Competent in Microsoft word & Excel

  • At least 4 years in machines & technical support.

  • Good communication, reasoning and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Approve work orders to be opened under the manufacturer’s warranty code.

  • Follow up the execution of the repairs for all manufacturer warranty jobs

  • Submit the warranty claims to the manufacturer.

  • Provide a weekly report to the Service Manager relating to the claims submitted/approved by the manufacturer during that week

  • Prepare a monthly performance report to the Service Manager related to the percentage of monies recovered during the month versus the incurred cost

  • Manage PIP Safety and PIP Priority execution

  • Register all machines for delivery in Caterpillar database
