The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for:
• The accountability of all inventory inside of the Warehouse
• Responsible for ensuring correct records are kept for all movement of stock.
▀ MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATION
• At least five (5) CXC or O’ levels including Mathematics and English, University Diploma
• At least 3 years’ experience in Warehousing
• Supervisory training would be considered an asset.

▀ MAJOR FUNCTIONS
• To ensure all inventory are checked correctly on a daily basis.
• Ensuring all inventory reports are accurately prepared and sent to head office before the deadlines.
• Organising the labour force for the offloading of inventory received form Head Office.
• Ensure stocks are rotated and FIFO methodology is used to avoid expiry
• Ensure inventory is packed in the correct manner to reduce damages.
• Investigate all variance and provide report to superiors.
• Ensures courtesy and professionalism are maintained at all times when communicating with fellow employees
• Ensures all company assets are protected – beverage coolers, trucks and hand-helds.
• Complies with all OSH and Company Safety standards.
• Ensures workplace is always clean and in a hygienic state, free of clutter and debris.
• ANY OTHER DUTIES ASSIGNED BY WAREHOUSE MANAGER

▀ DRESS CODE
• All Warehouse Supervisor must be attired in the Company’s uniform Monday to Friday.

ALL PERSONNEL:

• Following all instructions from the Supervisor/Team Leaser of Management Representative.
• Reporting immediately all Unsafe Acts or Unsafe Conditions to their immediate Supervisor, HSE Officer or HSE Committee Representative.
• Reporting immediately all Accidents, Near Misses and Injuries to the Supervisor after ensuring First-Aid treatment to the injured.
• Cooperating with the Supervisor during any Accident Investigation to determine root causes and implementation of appropriate control measures.
• Using correctly all Personal Protective Equipment and Safety Devices provided, Machine Guards, Machinery, Equipment, Tools and Processes.
• Assuming responsibility for their safety and that of others who may be affected by their actions at work.
