Description

Demerara Distillers Limited & Subsidiaries (DDL) is seeking applications from interested persons with the requisite qualifications and experience for the position of Cashier.

Requirements

  • A minimum of five (5) CSEC passes, including Mathematics and English, grades 1 to 3.

  • Experience as a cashier would be an asset.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring that all payments balance at the end of the day and reporting any discrepancies to management.

  • Staying informed about products, promotions, and policies to provide accurate information to customers.

  • Following company policies and procedures, including those related to cash handling, customer service, and safety.

  • Ensuring that every customer interaction is positive and that customers leave satisfied with their shopping experience.
