Under the direction of the Admin & Finance Manager the Payroll & Admin Clerk should possess excellent accounting skills, be a good communicator, and pay meticulous attention to details. The Payroll & Admin Clerk should resolve problems, improve efficiency, risk, encourage business growth, and enhance and sustain relations with department.


  • Diploma in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • At least 2 - 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Strong math, typing, and computer skills, especially with bookkeeping software.
  • Excellent communication, research, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.
  • Attention to details


  • Collecting and verifying timesheets.
  • Answering employees' questions and concerns regarding payroll.
  • Calculating payable hours, commissions, bonuses, taxes, and deductions.
  • Issuing and delivering paychecks to employees.
  • Investigating and resolving payroll discrepancies.
  • Maintaining and updating payroll records.
  • Preparing periodic payroll reports.
  • Performs administrative and clerical tasks.
  • Collect and verify cash handover from Truck Yard Supervisor
  • Balance & issue Petty Cash
  • Assist with booking customers’ orders and transferring same to Dispatcher.
  •  Performs documentation of new employees and relate same to Main Office.
  • Collect, organize and input employees' time-sheets into a spreadsheet daily and submit to office by 2:00 pm.
  • Write receipts for customers who would have made payments for services in office.
