Description

 The Recruitment consultant's key responsibility will be to place suitable candidates within Leader Engineering’s client portfolio on both a consultant and permanent hire basis. This will include managing the end-to-end recruitment process for assigned roles and ensuring that once on-boarded Leader Engineering’s contractors receive a world-class service.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a recruitment consultant, HR consultant, or similar position

  • Understanding of sourcing and recruiting techniques

  • A Degree in HR, Marketing, or a related Field

  • Outstanding communication ability

  • Confident and pleasant personality

  • Ability to work with targets.

Responsibilities

  • Providing first-class service to candidates and clients during the recruitment process, in writing effective job adverts, conducting screening calls, arranging interviews, reference checking, providing timely feedback, closing candidates at the offer stage, and advising clients and contractors on relevant recruitment matters.

  • Identify new business opportunities and follow up proactively or pass them to the relevant Sales Team Leader.

  • Creating candidate ‘hotlists’ for key areas of the business in line with the specialisms of the consultant and key target areas for the business.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, candidates and partners, understanding their needs and delivering tailored recruitment solutions to meet their requirements.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify potential areas for growth and competitive advantages.

  • Develop and present business proposals, demonstrating the value and benefits of Leader Engineering's recruitment services to prospective clients.

  • Monitor and report on business development activities, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and progress toward revenue targets.

  • Candidate care after placement, including handling any candidate issues and escalating where appropriate and ensuring Leader Engineering retains its contractors for as long as possible.

  • To deliver excellent ongoing candidate service by contacting all placements in their first week and then on a monthly basis to offer support and answer any questions they may have.

  • Guiding the onboarding process, working with internal departments, specifically compliance, to ensure they have all the information needed to conduct their duties.

  • Ensuring Leader Engineering’s CMR (Bullhorn) is updated and maintained with all relevant recruitment activity/information for both clients and candidates.

  • Ensure all business is conducted in line with appropriate standards and regulations that apply to specific regions and type of work

  • Identifying commercial opportunities through business intelligence 

  • To take responsibility and accountability for your entire role by supporting the business. 

  • To promote best practices within the office and constantly look to improve processes and procedures.

  • Be proactive in finding new and better ways to work effectively and be solutions-driven.

  • To take responsibility for continuous self-improvement through self-development and improving knowledge.

  • To perform other duties as requested by management that may happen from time to time in a reasonable manner.
