Description

To perform service activities such as preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance and major repairs on heavy duty equipment and components following the manufacturer’s specifications and MACORP’s standards.

Requirements

  • Craft Certificate in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognized Technical Institution.

  • Level 2 & above Accreditation

  • At least five (5) years’ experience as a technician/mechanic

  • Good communication, analytical and organizational skills, with a strong customer service focus.

  • Previous experience with CAT machinery would be an asset.

Responsibilities

·         Complete personal timecards for respective jobs.

·         Use parts ordering system.

·         Perform disassembly and assembly of components as directed

·         Clean mechanical parts and components

·         Remove, assist with rebuilding, and install components from equipment as directed.

·         Prepare service reports as required.

·         Use service technical literature.  

·         Load/unload components, parts and equipment as directed.
