We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Alarm Technician with expertise in automated alarm products to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of security systems, including smart home automation, video surveillance, and access control systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in alarm system installation, CCTV, maintenance, and repair.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Technical certification in security systems or a related field is preferred.
Skills: Proficiency in the use of hand tools and electrical testing equipment. Strong understanding of wiring diagrams, electrical schematics and IPV4.
Customer Service: Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide superior customer service.
Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Licensing: Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Relevant certifications and licenses as required by local and state regulations.
Communications: Strong communication and customer service skills.
Installation: Install and configure security systems, including smart home devices, cameras, sensors, control panels, and other related equipment.
Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and inspections of alarm security systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and comply with industry standards.
Repairs: Diagnose and repair issues with alarm security systems, including troubleshooting network and connectivity problems.
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns, answering questions, and providing training on system operation and Alarm.com app usage.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance, and repairs, including detailed reports and logs.
Compliance: Stay updated on the latest security technology trends and regulatory requirements.
