The Payroll Clerk is responsible for ensuring that all employees are paid accurately and on time. They will process payroll data and ensure that all relevant taxes and deductions are calculated and deducted correctly.
Requirements:
• At least 2 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of PAYE, and NIS regulations and laws
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word
• Experience with accounting software and systems, including Peachtre.
Execute security officers' payroll - review edits, process the payroll, basic recon, pay slips, and banking info. Signature sheet
Maintain payrolls filing
Prepare journals
· Compile information for NIS and PAYE Submission
· Prepare Payroll Movement
Prepare Payroll Audit Schedule
