The position will be responsible for sports wagering including ticket writing, receiving and accounting for cash paid by guests, processing winning tickets and supporting the sports betting and wagering operations by providing efficient and courteous customer service to all guests. Maintains and supports effective staff and customer relations.
Minimum of three (3) CXC or GCE ‘O’ level subjects at General level, including Mathematics.
Two (2) years’ experience preferably in a sales environment. Experience in sports and online gaming would be an asset or a good understanding of sports.
Must have basic computer knowledge: Email, Internet and Microsoft Excel and Word.
Good numeracy and literacy skills.
Customer service-oriented individual, focused on improving the customer experience.
Good verbal, writing and listening skills.
Courteously greet guests when they arrive at the betting booth.
Sell and promote Sports Games to all customers.
Perform account maintenance for players.
Understand the games and other procedures for playing (Training will be provided).
Restrict access of others to cash held in custody.
Responsible personally for cash in drawer and cash till.
Monitor system operations and promptly report problems to the General Manager.
Record daily, on betting log, the names, gender, telephone contact, email address and date and time of play, for all customers betting.
Submit, on a daily basis, the Wager Log to the General Manager.
Maintains confidentiality regarding customer play.
Wear the corporate provided polo shirt, with either black pants or black skirt and presents a polished and professional image at all times.
Consistently strive to build and achieve guest satisfaction.
Communicates effectively with all co-workers and guest.
