Offering efficient and professional service to existing and potential customers for the various product lines offered by the company. Actively seeking out new customers.
Contacting each assigned customer at least twice per month via direct visits, receiving orders and providing product, pricing, and discount information as required.
Making recommendations to customers about new products and products that they may not be familiar with, advising of the best solution for the application.
Accepting orders and collecting purchase orders from customers, ensuring that their accounts are current and in good standing.
Preparing invoices and collecting payments, giving receipt for same.
Collecting outstanding payments as required.
Liaising with respective Managers on strategies for achieving sales targets.
Coordinating deliveries and following up to ensure customer satisfaction.
Obtaining market and sales information from customers, advising Manager of sales opportunities, and referring feedback, both positive and negative.
Making periodic visits to customers to check stock and maintain good relationships.
Preparing monthly schedule of out-of-town visits, calling customers in advance for deliveries of orders.
High school education with passes in mathematics and English, or
Diploma in related field or 3 years’ experience in related field
Computer literacy
Good written & oral communication skills
Good customer service & critical thinking skills.
Must have a valid driver's license and own a working vehicle for sales visits.
Promotion and sales of products & services offered by the company, providing technical advice, quotations, and after sales service to customers.
