Description

The purpose of a Document Controller is to manage, control, and maintain documents and records so that the correct, approved, and current information is available to the right people at the right time—while ensuring compliance with organizational, legal, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  •     Associate degree or Certificate in Business Administration, Records Management, Information.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with document management systems is an asset.

  •     1–2 years of experience in Document control, records management, or administrative support.

  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

  • Ability to work in remote and multicultural environments

  • High level of integrity and professionalism

  • Strong organizational and planning abilities

Responsibilities

  •    Establish, implement, and maintain document control systems (manual and electronic).

  •    Ensure all documents are properly classified, numbered, titled, filed, and stored.

  •    Maintain master lists for controlled documents and records.

  •  Ensure only the latest approved versions of documents are available for use.

  •    Maintain secure storage of records.

  •    Coordinate document review, approval, and distribution workflows.

  •    Verify those documents.

  •    Maintain strict control of documents.

  •    Ensure documents undergo required review and authorization before release.

  • Ensure quality records are properly stored
