We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Clerk to support the daily financial operations of the company. The successful candidate will assist with processing transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate reporting
Minimum of 5 CXC/CSEC subjects including English and Mathematics
Certificate or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (can be an asset)
1–3 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role
Basic knowledge of accounting principles
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
Good organizational and time management skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
Prepare and post journal entries as required
Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
Assist with invoicing, billing, and payment processing
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
Support month-end and year-end closing processes
Assist in preparing financial reports and summaries
File and organize accounting documents (physical and digital)
Respond to vendor and customer inquiries regarding payments
Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures
