Building Materials Sales Representative

LongReach Investments & Construction Inc. is seeking an experienced Building Materials Sales Representative to support the development of our building materials business in Guyana. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the local market, building and maintaining customer and distributor relationships, researching industry standards and policies, and supporting the company’s sales strategy and business growth.

1. Bachelor’s degree or above in International Trade, Marketing, Construction Engineering, or a related field. English must be suitable for use as a working language.

2. Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in building materials or engineering-related products. Overseas work experience is preferred.

3. Excellent cross-cultural communication and business negotiation skills, with the ability to adapt to long-term business travel.

4. Knowledge of international engineering tendering and bidding procedures, with the ability to independently develop key clients and handle complex business negotiations or disputes.

5. Strong ability to work under pressure, results-oriented, highly responsible, and a good team player.

1. Develop the market for building materials and establish and maintain customer channels and distributor networks.

2. Conduct in-depth research on local building material industry standards and policies and develop targeted sales and promotional strategies.

3. Lead business negotiations, including contract terms, order execution and payment follow-up.

4. Coordinate with engineering and logistics teams to ensure product delivery schedules meet project construction requirements.

5. Monitor competitors and collect market feedback, providing regular analysis to help optimize the company’s product portfolio and service offerings.
