The ATV Driver is responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient transportation of employees, expatriates, contractors, and visitors within the operational area and between designated camp facilities. The incumbent shall ensure the assigned All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) is operated in accordance with Company policies, safety standards, and applicable regulations, while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and passenger care.
Sound secondary education with the ability to read and write at a proficient level.
Valid Guyana Driver's Licence (motorcycle).
Minimum of two (2) years' experience operating ATVs, off-road vehicles, or similar equipment, preferably within mining, forestry, or remote operational environments.
Experience transporting personnel in interior or camp-based operations would be an asset.
Defensive driving training would be advantageous.
Current First Aid and CPR certification would be an asset.
Mechanical knowledge of ATVs required.
Safely transport personnel, including expatriate employees, contractors, and visitors, to and from designated work locations and within the operational area.
Operate the assigned ATV in accordance with Company procedures, speed limits, and established driving protocols.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the ATV and promptly report defects, damages, or maintenance concerns to the Camp Manager.
Ensure the ATV is maintained in a clean, serviceable, and roadworthy condition at all times.
Observe and comply with all health, safety, security, and environmental requirements.
Immediately report incidents, accidents, near misses, hazards, unsafe conditions, and security concerns.
Ensure passengers utilize required safety equipment and follow safe boarding and disembarking procedures.
Exercise caution when operating in adverse weather conditions, difficult terrain, and areas with pedestrian activity.
Assist with the transportation of light materials, supplies, and equipment as directed by the Camp Manager.
Maintain vehicle usage logs, inspection records, and other documentation as required.
Support emergency response activities when called upon.
Perform any other duties reasonably assigned by Management.
