The IT Technician is responsible for overseeing all technology systems across MovieTowne Mall and Cinemas, ensuring seamless operations, system security, and an exceptional customer experience through reliable and innovative IT solutions.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
3–5+ years of experience in IT management (experience in retail, hospitality, or entertainment is a plus)
Strong knowledge of networks, servers, cybersecurity, and POS/ticketing systems, CCTV
Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
Manage and maintain all IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, POS systems, cinema ticketing systems, and digital displays
Ensure uptime and performance of critical systems across retail, concessions, and cinema operations
Oversee cybersecurity measures, data protection, and system backups
Provide technical support to mall management, cinema staff, and tenants where applicable
Manage and optimize Wi-Fi networks for public and internal use
Oversee cinema-specific technologies (ticketing, scheduling, projection systems integration)
Coordinate with vendors and service providers for system upgrades and maintenance
Monitor and update IT budgets, procurement, and asset management
Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant data/privacy regulations
Provide on-call support and respond to critical technology issues as required to ensure continuity of operations.
