Description

Demerara Distillers Limited and Subsidiaries (DDL) is seeking applications from suitably qualified persons with the requisite qualifications and experience, to fill the position of Assistant Engineer.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical /mechanical engineering.

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in industrial/manufacturing Plant.

  • Proven expertise in preventative maintenance to equipment / machinery

  • Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, monitor and document maintenance schedules.

  • Manage inventory, spares and maintenance budget.

  • Monitor equipment and processes and identify opportunities for equipment upgrade.

  • Ensure technical specifications for all equipment and instruments before procurement.

  • Lend technical support to technicians and operators during repairs and maintenance of machinery.
