STARCOMM OFFICE FURNITURE is seeking an Accounts Clerk to join their team. The Accounts Clerk is responsible for supporting the financial operations of our company by maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and assisting in the preparation of financial reports. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a solid understanding of accounting principles.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in accounting or as an accounts clerk is preferred.

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

  • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records and assist in daily accounting operations.

  • Process invoices, receipts, and payments in a timely manner.

  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure accurate account balances.

  • Assist in preparing financial reports and summaries for management.

  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software effectively.

  • Other accounting duties assigned.
