Room Attendant/Housekeeper

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and overall presentation of guest rooms and public areas to ensure a comfortable and pleasant stay for guests. This role plays a key part in guest satisfaction and the hotel’s reputation

Previous housekeeping experience

Attention to detail and cleanliness

Ability to work long hours and handle physical tasks

Good time management and teamwork skills

Basic communication skills must be able to Speak, Read and Understand English.

Room Cleaning

Clean and service assigned guest rooms daily

Make beds, change linens, and replace towels

Clean bathrooms (toilets, showers, sinks, mirrors)

Dust, wipe, mop, and vacuum all surfaces and floors

Restocking & Setup

Replenish toiletries, water, and room amenities

Ensure rooms are set up according to hotel standards

Check that all equipment (TV, AC, lights) is functioning

Laundry & Linen

Collect and deliver dirty linens

Assist with laundry (washing, drying, ironing, folding)

Maintain linen storage areas

General Cleaning Duties

Clean corridors, stairways, and public areas

Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly

Perform deep cleaning when required �

Reporting & Compliance

Report maintenance issues (leaks, broken items, etc.)

Report lost and found items immediately

Follow health, safety, and sanitation standards

Guest Interaction

Respond politely to guest requests

Maintain professionalism and confidentiality

Ensure guest privacy and security at all times
