The role requires supporting the safe and efficient handling of goods, terminal and overall operations. The role is very hands-on and safety critical - PPE provided.
Working hours: 6:00am - 3:00pm with the possibility of working 9 hours day/night shifts.
• High school diploma or equivalent (Minimum)
• Prior experience in industrial operations is an asset
• Strong understanding of safety practices
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varied weather conditions and long shifts.
• Willingness to work weekends, and public holidays

• Reliable with strong punctuality and attendance
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Washing, inspecting, and sorting cylinders.
• Pressure testing, leak inspections, and decanting leaking cylinders.
• Assisting in gauging and dipping of tanks, tanker discharges, inspections, and maintenance.
• Assisting in plant start-up and shut-down activities.
• Maintain depot cleanliness and good housekeeping practice.
• Offloads containers and handles goods in the warehouse to ensure first in first out (FIFO) is maintained.
• Pick and pack outgoing orders, ensuring accurate and timely order fulfilment.
• Maintain the warehouse in an organized and clean manner, ensuring safe storage of all goods.
• Process damaged stock, placing stock in quarantine and repackaging as needed.
• Assist in accurately counting stock and record keeping as required.
• Assist the driver in safe loading and unloading operations.
• Assist with directions and driving navigation.
• May be required to assist with delivery paperwork and recording
• May also be required to interface with customers, assuring customer satisfaction.
