The incumbent will be responsible for managing and promoting all aspects of Health, Safety, Environment & Quality throughout the company whilst ensuring compliance with all legislative and ISO 9001 requirements.
· Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Quality Management or other related disciplines
· Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in HSEQ
· ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor qualification (required).
· NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent safety certification is highly desirable.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Develop, implement, and manage HSEQ Management Systems for all company sites and ensure integration across all departments.
· Record the progress of implementation for actions, monitor the effectiveness of actions taken, and prepare follow-up reports.
· Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System (ISO 9001) for the company, ensuring full compliance with standard requirements.
· Create internal and external audit schedules, conduct comprehensive audits, and generate detailed reports with findings and recommendations.
· Assist in the creation and monitoring of Risk Assessments for all members of the group, ensuring Risk Assessments are developed and kept up-to-date on various tasks and workshops.
· Recommend data-driven solutions to reduce risk in all departments and implement quality improvement plans.
· Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-miss situations, asses the root cause and implement corrective actions.
· Prepare procedures, policies, and guidance documents after consulting with process owners, ensuring alignment with ISO 9001 requirements.
· Develop documents, presentations, and reports as required, ensuring they meet ISO 9001 documentation requirements.
· Conduct presentations to various parties and stakeholders as needed, demonstrating HSEQ performance and compliance.
· Lead and support third-party audits, inspections from clients, government agencies, and stakeholders.
· Plan and coordinate emergency drills and ensure that contingency plans are updated and circulated to all locations.
· Attend meetings with internal personnel, external customers, and related parties. Assist with the determination of HSEQ needs and ensure the client's HSEQ expectations are met.
